“ Fancy Japanese restaurant. Their portion is quite large for their set menus. Price wise middle high. Service was very good, the waiter gives us really good recommendation and remind us about the portion, really appreciate this. Taste wise, for me it's ok. Not amazing, but it delivered what expected. Hopefully they will survive, when my fam was here, we were the only customer from 6-7 pm. Maybe it's because it wasn't a weekend? Or simply because it was located in an apartment building with no signage outside the gate. ”

“ Never thought there is good place to eat Japanese inside the apartment building. Tasty authentic Japanese food (my parameter is if you see Japanese eat alone just enjoy their food, it must be taste good). Many options, fair price, decent portion, delicious, and good service. ”

“ Food: 5/5 Great selection, we had opening dish, sweet and tasty to start the feast. Potato salad was great, shishamo was not fishy. Oden: daikon was tender, botten was chewy and good, konyaku was great. Grilled mochi was nice but better with soy sauce and a bit of mustard. Chazuke was good. Agedashi tofu (goes by different name here) was also delicious. California roll was okay. All dishes were great to gulp down with beer. Yakitori: kawa (chicken skin) could be crispier, chicken wings were good, momo (thigh) was juicy. Washed them down with sake was great, we opted for the non-dry sake one - good one. Service: 5/5 Great and attentive service. We ordered a lukewarm ocha, came a very hot one. We just jokingly commented on that, but the waitstaff changed it to lukewarm. Fast and nice. ”

“ Its been more than 6x visit, then i finally wrote this review. This is like a hidden gem authentic Japanese food within walking distance. Happy to have this resto nearby as it never too crowded, a neighborhood scale that feels nice, relax & convenient. You can just wear shorts and flipflops. Like this is just your neighbor resto. They have wide variety of menus. Each time i come always trying a new menu (i also have my faves but why not something new). Sashimis are fresh & good qualities. The yakitori is must haves/ try. Their chazukes has most options here compare to other Japanese restos. Just too bad they dont serve pork thou many Japanese expats are regulars here. Goodness they still serve sake & Japanese liquors. If u have problem with your food, no worries they will help to change a new one. A real local fave Keep up the good qualities. ”

“ A nice japanese cafe in the pondok indah area serving a range of izakaya style food, sushi, Oden, grilled dishes. Good set lunch and bento available too during lunch time, place especially packed during weekend so reservation is recommended ”

“ This restaurant is located in the lobby of Apartment Pondok Indah Golf Orchid Tower. We ordered: Kushiyaki: Gyutan Tori kawa - we asked it to be crispier, and they delivered Mochi beef bacon maki - combination of the chewy mochi & tasty bacon Chicken Namban - a bit different than the usually dry chicken namban. It was drizzled with sweet sauce & crunchy bits on top. Gyudon Salmon teriyaki Chicken katsu omurice Ebi fry bento consists of miso soup, rice, potato salad, teriyaki chicken, prawn katsu, breaded onion, grilled salmon. We actually enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. They served quality japanese comfort food. It's a place where you can go back from time to time. But i feel that the flavors need to be more bold and strong - my personal opinion though. There were many repetitive customers who preferred the taste of a home cooked meal. ”
